Parts that were once hidden within the inner workings of an object are transformed into visible structures on the outside. They reveal a state of close interdependence between objects, redefining the relationship between what is “inside” and what is “outside.
Through layers of paint, the once rigid inner structure is gently wrapped and softened. This unstable form seems to be taking shape in motion, as if it will continue to grow in the very next moment.
Color is compressed and layered onto the surface, turning paint into more than a covering and it becomes a physical presence with thickness and weight. These accumulated layers resemble traces of time that have been frozen and preserved, giving material form to the ideas of “residue” and “existence” itself.

以吸塵器刷頭建造的「眼」作為視覺核心,工具在此卸下功能,轉變為具備神情的生命體。
With an “eye” constructed from a vacuum brush head as its visual focus, the tool is stripped of its original function and transformed into a life-like being with its own expression.
The extended tubes become “tail fins,” giving the reassembled form a clear sense of direction. The object is transformed into a creature-like figure that seems to suggest movement and behavior.
Built upon the head of Michelangelo’s David, flowing and accumulated layers of paint spread across the surface like organic tissue. The familiar silhouette is broken apart, then interwoven and reconstructed with various components. Moving between expression and materiality, the work appears as a constantly evolving, shape-shifting presence.
The layered paint resembles dust once gathered from everyday life. As light and shadow pass through it, the once-hidden filtering mechanism becomes a preserved specimen of life. By looking again at discarded objects, the work recalls everyday memories and opens up new possibilities of imagination within these fragments of daily life.
